OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR 9TH-12TH GRADE HOME SCHOOL STUDENTS
In an effort to minister to the greater home school community, DCSS is pleased to announce some important changes to the high school (9th -12th grades) portion of DCSS Homeschool. Knowing that families who choose to home school through the high school years often desire options for supplementing their educational program, DCSS will offer two part-time options for students in Grades 9-12. Students will be able to take two to three credits per year at either Dayton Christian High School or Xenia Christian High School with the possibility of participating in athletics, plays/musicals, and pep band. For students who are entering Grade 9 and need a year of transition from home school to the traditional school setting, a full-time option (minimum six credits/year) will be available that will include partial time (two to three credits/year) at either DCHS or XCHS as well as completion of some courses at home for DCSS credit.
